ISLAMABAD – Expressing disappointment over the attitude of opposition parties on the Panama leaks issue, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as said that judicial commission has been formed on their demand to probe the scandal but they were still making fuss of it.
While talking to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Fazalur Rehman at the PM House on Thursday, the prime minister said that he had written a letter to the Supreme Court chief justice to form a commission to probe the Panama leaks, however, the opposition parties were playing politics over the issue.
Both the leaders discussed the arising situation in the wake of the Panama leaks and ponder over to devise a counter strategy to take-on the opposition. The JUI-F chief supported the stance of the prime minister and assured him of his every possible cooperation. He said that the Panama leaks issue was a serious matter and the opposition parties should wait until the judicial commission probe it and submits a report. The prime minister thanked Fazal for supporting his government.
