RAWALPINDI – As many as 200 women from Rawalpindi have applied for learning motorcycle riding under Punjab Chief Minister special programme of “women on wheel”.
Sources said that the 15 -day -course will be started from November 7 in police lines. Lady wardens will impart training to ladies. Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Shahid Yousaf was the chairman of course committee while DSP headquarters Timor Khan and Warden Kashif are the members of this committee.
Kashif Jameel said that 40 member women bench has been established that will complete its training within 15 days. Both theoretical and practical training will be provided to ladies in road safety and traffic rules.
