A woman in Denmark has been charged for wearing full-face veil in public.
According to reports, she came into the police attention when a scuffle broke between her and another woman in a shopping center. ‘During the fight, her Niqab came off but she put it back once again when the police came,’ claimed the police spokesperson.
The 28-year-old was given $155 fine after she refused to take her veil off at their request.

A ban on Niqab came into effect in the country on Wednesday provoking protests from human rights groups.
The new law states ‘anyone who wears a garment that hides the face in public will be punished with a fine’.
Moreover, repeating the offence carries $1,500 penalty.
Ban on veil is in place in many western countries including France, Austria, Bulgaria and the German state of Bavaria.
