ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has so far received 52 objections on the draft delimitation constituencies, said the commission on Thursday.
Political parties have been voicing their concerns over the initial delimitation of the constituencies done on the basis of the population census carried out last year.
According to details, the electoral body received 25 objections from Punjab, 20 from Sindh and seven from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In the initial delimitations, the ECP included 8.1 million persons in the draft voter lists, who obtained CNICs from 2013 onwards, taking the total number of voters to over 104 million.
The commision has fixed April 3 as the last date for filing of objections.
